Genevieve Among Honorees of the 2017 UVI Golden Key Honor Society Pillar Awards

Genevieve was one of the featured honorees of the University of the Virgin Islands' Golden Key International Honour Society- St. Croix 40th Anniversary and Scholarship Reception held at the University's Great Hall of the Albert A. Sheen campus (St. Croix), held on March 25, 2017.

Genevieve, who in 2012 was inducted as an honorary member and served as the keynote speaker, was recognize among other Golden Key's Honorary members for their work in the community. Her fellow awardees were: St. Croix's chapter founding member Kofi Boateng, Entrepreneur and Former Labor Commissioner Albert Bryan Jr., and Senator Kurt Vialet.

The purpose of the event was to bring together Golden Key current, prospective, Alumni, and Honorary members from when the St. Croix Chapter was charted in 1995 and to raise

$10,000 to establish a Golden Key Scholarship Endowment (they raised $7,000 of the $10,000 goal).
